Oh man, I could go on for a while but seeing other quotes on here people, like yourself, already seem to know what’s up with REAL government. But yea, our government has sold out. Credit default swaps are not collateralized as Bernanke implies. They are merely uncollateralized gambling losses which the taxpayer is now covering in the greatest financial transfer of wealth and swindle in world history.
Where have you been? AIG went down because of collateral calls on the CDS it was trading.. Of course CDS are collateralized. idk how someone could miss that fact.

I actually think Bernake is fighting for his soul. I think he can’t sleep and he looks tired and is under severe stress and pressure much caused by a mess that probably had nothing to do with his post now. I actually pray for him and his wife.. I feel bad for both of them even if I disagree with them.

Interesting to note the cutoff given when Bernake pointed out that the ones bailing the credit companies who are failing is the treasury with TARP money. This is just pointing the finger at the federal reserve to cover their own poor choices. This makes me ill.
