One of the most retarded things that you can do in the service is buy a nice car or bike like this on base or on station.
No disrespect to Jimmy or anything but the price of having to ship it all over the place and pay for service and maintenance over seas branks your bank.
In fact most services are now making it mandatory for enlisted troops to take financial courses to discourage them from doing this.

BUT, AND THIS IS ONLY TO MY UNDERSTANDING, there are other… bonuses i guess, depening on what you do, or say if your married and are deployed and so on and so forth.
