it’s strange watching that first part…it seemed like the black folks were freaked out when they saw each other white and the white folks were actually happy or seemed fulfilled to see themselves as black.
the white couple even got a little turned on seeing each other as black and when their daughter walked in “you’re a cute little black girl”

This was the best documentary I’ve ever seen on race. It was (and is) fantastic and deep. I don’t know why there were never sequels.

Both families will appear somewhat racist, but I’m sure neither of them actually believe any race is less equal.
I just think the white people are fucking uncultured idiots, and the black people are a bit too sensitive. This combined makes them both look terrible. This is what all reality shows do, specifically choose people who will cause a lot of friction with each other.
This show only cares about money. Not about teaching anybody anything.
