President Barack Obama is pushing Congress to send him legislation by Memorial Day that would put a tighter rein on the credit card industry. (May 9)

A little message to all you Obama-Borg about rich people: Raising the taxes on the rich will only result in one thing and one thing only, the rich will just stop investing – remember, theyve already made their fortunes and have them tucked away in safes and banks around the world, well beyond the reach of US taxation. Also you will be unemployed.
Why is it that Obuma and his clowns say well 500K unemployed last month thats ok cause it could have been 600K. Thats on Obama’s watch!

If you want to drive more businesses out of the U.S. keep raising their taxes. What lies. If you develop a product for the world market would you open your business in the U.S. with 50% tax or Ireland with a 12.5% tax. If they lowered corporate tax to 12.5 think how many companies might stay here and how many more may come.

So what to do the credit card companies do? Rob Peter to pay Paul. See the NY Times article of May18th. If you’ve been a “sterling payer,” it looks as though the days of no annual fees and interest-free grace periods will be gone. It’s just like with the corporate bailouts: reward those who manage money poorly and punish those who manage it well.
It’s absurd. And don’t give me that “free ride is over” crap. Good payers have HELPED the banks all these years. We pay our bills on time.

Has there ever been a president that has blamed the former administration more than Obama? I mean when is he going to start taking responsibility? Bush deserved his share of criticism, but looking back at Bush’s 8 years makes you wonder if he was really that bad?
