Great old Lawnmower that besides the shotgun blast, was probally in great shape.
As much as I love older 2-stroke Lawnboys, I have to say that 6 years in jail for hurting no one is complete bullsh*t.

I would be pleased beyond imagining if the Americans gave a good shellacing to Vancouver, Toronto, and Montreal right about now, seriously, it would be a win – win situation. Best regards marmaloon.

You don’t know what’s going on up here. . .

He’s probably just a regular guy that had a little too much to drink and didn’t think of the consequences of his actions. his spotless criminal record would indicate that

Gosh, I’m suprised that they didn’t try to charge him with “Attempting to cut the lawn while under the influence”. His grass might have been in danger!

I agree with the guy, it’s his lawnmower and yard, so he can shoot it if he wants!

  13. timeofnebula / January 27, 2009 2:29 am

He’s a hero for frustrated yard owners alike, but the lawn tools protection agency probably got after him.

“It’s my lawn mower and my yard, so I can shoot it if I want”
And that should be end of discussion!

This reminds me of the time my dad got so ticked off with gophers chewing up his lawn. I went into the house and he ran into the bedroom and ran out locking and loading a Walther semi-auto. The next thing I hear was a “pop, pop, pop.” Ran out to see what he did and he had mistakenly shot a snail. This was on a city lot. My only comment to him was if the snail had drawn first, it probably happened so fast. This was after uncontrolled laughter.

    lawn boys suck

  17. XioJester / June 12, 2009 5:07 pm

they’re gonna lock him up for 6 years for killing a machine. I’m sure he’ll be more well adjusted and obedient after his sentence, right? give him a fine, that’s overkill

he had a clean record, slap him on the wrist and send him back home

No useful purpose in this man being on trial and eventually in jail at taxpayer expense.
