It’s “이 밤이 깊어가지만”. You can find this version on his Live Tour Zero 04 album, the original version you can on his first album.

    have you got the lyrics?

  10. Comment by uladelz2 — October 12, 2008 @ 1:18 pm

is this song originally from Linkin Park? what is the title for English version?

  11. Comment by serenas30 — October 12, 2008 @ 7:01 pm

You mean that Linkin Park is the American version of Seo Taiji

  12. Comment by serenas30 — October 12, 2008 @ 7:34 pm

No I don’t think so he remade this song from his albume that came out in 1992 if I am not mistaken. And I think that the title in American is (Though tonight is growing late).

  13. Comment by uladelz2 — October 12, 2008 @ 7:49 pm

I see….so the song is originally from Seo Taiji which titled as “though tonight is growing late” if translated.

but, the melody sounds familiar, don’t you think? so, i wonder if there is any english song with similar melody as this song

I mean that Seo Taiji sounds like Linkin Park. Or Linkin Park sound like Seo Taiji.
No digo que esta cancion sea una version de alguna cancion de Linkin Park. Solo digo que esta banda suena muy similar a ellos.

I have only heard a couple of songs from Linkin Park, but if they have one that sounds similar I bet it sounds nice. Do you know the name of the song so that I can listen to it?

Can you tell me the name of that song so that I can listen to it. That would be cool if they made an english version.

This is how it goes. Seo Taiji basically copies whatever American band is popular at the time and duplicates it in Korean. New Kids on the Block, Korn, Linkin Park, even that one gay emo band from U.S. Every album with this guy is a totally different catagory of music. Check out Ultramania and you’ll see his band if just like Korn and he looks just like John Davis. His guitarist is modeled after Limp Bizkit. I still like this guy though, he’s just the biggest counterfiet ever, that’s all!

just because he touched on a wide genre of music doesn’t make him a counterfeit. Rather, i think very highly of his musical talent. I am assuming that you are writing this ‘counterfeit’ theory based on other people’s comment about the similarity between this song and Linkin Park’s, but u should know this song was composed in 1992. so who’s copying who? tbh I don’t think neither one is copying the other, but if u insist, think of the year when this song was composed

lol seo taiji copies no one, if anyone copies, it is everyone copies him and yes it is true that seo taiji was the one who brought the new style of rap and hip hop to korea in the 90’s, but every artist and genre of music is branched off of some original basic sound. so no music is truely “original”

think of it this way, linkin park copied their song from seotaiji.
    ya’ll pwnd >:)

  21. Comment by fashaS2ace — February 7, 2009 @ 9:04 pm

well, linkin park did come out almost a decade after seo taiji… and davis of korn called seo taiji “amazing artist” so… i really don’t think he’s a “counterfeit”, btw, seo started heavy metal rock in 1998 which is 2 years before linkin park debutted…
