Most Indians (I refuse to use the degrading phrase “Native Americans”) were killed by DISEASE, not our fault. We came here with European diseases, and their immune systems just wasn’t used to those diseases, so they died. That’s not a hard concept and to say otherwise is to deny historical evidence.
And who ever said anything about Mexicans? He (we) said ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS. Those are two very different things my friend. If the illegal immigrant were British I’d still kick him out.

Because “Indian” means “people of God”, Native American implies that they were Native to this land (archeology says that they immigrated here).
1) Assimilation is not a bad thing.
2) The Europeans and Indians went to war with each other for reasons that I don’t think anybody can really comprehend. That being said, when we did go to war, the Europeans happened to have FAR more advanced technology and warfare tactics, what outcome would you expect? A fight reminiscent of WWI trench warfare?

But by your standards, they still emigrated here, so they’re still immigrants, and therefore not natives (duh).
