    They didn’t even need to distract the lady at the front desk and use the reception telephone. All they had to do was call the hotel and get them to transfer the call to the room.

    That wont work joeyjoe, when they transfer the call to the room, the receptionist will tell the guest that they have a call for them, and then pass them on.
    Thats how ive always known how they do it, i could be wrong, but i guess only doing it you will know lol.
