First Second Of The Universe

Plain rubbish! This is a faith based “science” just like the religious nuts.

  2. Alterna123 / November 21, 2009 3:48 am

At the end of this video only being the 14 year old genius I am… my only question is. WTF?

  3. simpdon / November 21, 2009 4:06 am

You are caught at the difference between intelligence and knowledge. We are born with intelligence and gain knowledge over our lifetime.

We don’t say we know everything about the universe. But we can see far into past, nearly to the big bang, through the telescope.

This bit here is developed from quantum mechanics, a well proven tool to explain the Non-Newtonian sub-atomic world. Nothing in quantum mechanics is intuitive. You have to trust it because it’s predictions have proven true.

This is the best explanation science has right now. What is your hypothesis?

  5. jesse0192 / November 21, 2009 4:09 am

Let’s phrase that as science-based speculation!

Nobody is saying that everyone just has to believe this is true without proof, and discourages any attempt to disprove it, which is what “faith” often appears to encourage.

A scientific claim like this purports that this is a possible explanation, while readily conceding that it’s not provable; but it also begs to be refuted and tested, because that’s the only way to find a better theory!

Some of you seem to be confusing the first second of the universe, with what was before the universe. In this serious, that video was a few months ago,lol
I forgot the name of it, but it talks about a quantum flux, something from nothing (foam)

Gee, funny. In the entire Bible, it seems only the New Testament has any mention of hell as a place of torture. Interesting because God only speaks once in the entire sequence. If hell existed, don’t you think that the punishment would be mentioned in any of the many many MORE times God spoke or via his prophets in the old testament? Sounds like a last-minute fairy-tale for a reason.
    You’ve been used.

Of course we don’t believe in Genesis (bereshit).. because it has such obvious flaws as the moon being a light for the night. Umm.. the moon is actually absurdly dark. If there was no sun at all, and you stood on the moon then you’d not be able to see your hand nor the ground beneath your feet at all, and would only see the ground beneath you as mostly black with some grayish-brown if it were lit by a flashlight.
You’d think a god would have known something like that, having made it

    Don’t bother. The dude’s a troll.

  10. CodeSculptor / November 21, 2009 5:20 am

Well, the thing is, we can actually see some of what the universe was like up to the 400,000 years old point, because all around us can be seen the surface of last scattering.
From the physical make-up of the universe today, including the known aspects of the forces, and understanding the basics of the inflationary mechanics, rewinding the system to the earliest points is reasonably academic. We know certain forces cannot have decoupled before others.

I read a comprehensive explaination on it written around ten years ago. It was amazing, and I find I kinda’ do understand it, now.

  12. Archael2 / November 21, 2009 5:52 am

yeah, was just a joke though

  13. Katsuhisa777 / November 21, 2009 5:54 am

    ah, my bad

  14. rhyfelur / November 21, 2009 6:00 am

Yeah, yeah, i know. Thumbs down to the guy that dares to question the latest popular theory. The fact is that the scientist that are actually doing the work are the first to admit that this is all just a working theory and there are many more questions than there are answers. Im not saying its not heading in the right direction, Im just saying lets call it what it is..a theory, and not state it as established fact like this video does.

All antimatter has disappeared ? Let,s see yar back that up ;@)

  16. farvision / November 21, 2009 6:56 am

I find these videos frustrating. Why is each step happening? It’s not explained.

  17. sidewaysfcs0718 / November 21, 2009 7:28 am

cus explaining it would take several pages ….shut up and watch :D

  18. sidewaysfcs0718 / November 21, 2009 7:28 am

doesnt dissapear for good …u can make antimatter today ..they made an anti-hydrogen atom years ago :)

  19. sidewaysfcs0718 / November 21, 2009 7:29 am

theory is based on facts …dont confuse it with hypothesis .

gravity is still a theory u cant say its not real can u?

  20. jojoinhere / November 21, 2009 8:07 am

i would really want to know how they figure this out and where is the evidence

  21. RichoRosai / November 21, 2009 8:21 am

You need to form a personal relationship with our Lord and he will explain it to you. I will pray for you.

Also, just because God didn’t inspire a whole fucking chapter about WHY the cocksucking moon is a source of light doesn’t mean he didn’t KNOW why. He was inspiring a holy book, not a goddamn gradeschool science text! What a petty semantic trick to which you cumguzzling heathens have to resort!

  22. CodeSculptor / November 21, 2009 8:49 am

So the bible goes into gruelling detail on how to slaughter animals for sacrifice and how to make altars and how to pick priests, but presents shockingly little actual information.
The bible says the moon is a light! It’s only entirely wrong. It doesn’t get the order of creation correct (either time!). It can’t even agree with the resurrection of the bloody messiah! LOL
Holy? Elijah cursing kids to death, God asking his kind to slaughter kids and women and to rape maidens? Nice try.

  23. dobste / November 21, 2009 9:05 am

it is a mathematic calculation. is huge but is good

  24. gerjaison / November 21, 2009 9:07 am

@ RichoRosai – Maybe if you study something call “Calculus” then there is no such thing as “hell”.

My generous offer, if you can’t afford it i’ll personally shipped you one for FREE!!

Just POST us your address HERE!!

  25. Nihilist127 / November 21, 2009 9:44 am

You’d think the creator of the universe would know a bit more about its design wouldn’t you?
