I hope you don’t see your life as without purpose. We live in such an incredible time, where our knowledge can be shared to the greater community. Your “purpose” is to gain understanding, and to help the society in some small way, whether that’s because of your actions and/or the insight you bring.
Regardless of what you believe, I hope most people realize that what every person brings to this world is growth and opportunity for others.

Come on CDK give us all a break from your little magic show…the Lac-repressor that prevents RNA polymerase from binding is an intelligently designed system that science has shown cannot possibly come about naturally.
The same with Nylonase bacterium, no evolution has occured since the bacteria reproduce bacteria exactly as the book of Genesis says they would.
You should use your God given intelligence to see intelligent design and not spout that our brains came from rocks and lightning.

How do you know there isn’t a creator of god himself. We can not grasps God alone, yet another being higher. I am not a creationist, but its just some ideas to be thought. Put no limitations on your ideas as science is a belief system like religion.

For those who claim to believe that science is a ‘belief system like religion’, what other parts of science beyond biology (including evolution) do you doubt? Gravity? Astronomy? Electromagnetic THEORY? Modern medicine? (You don’t have any faith in your doctor, right?) Science isn’t science if it’s not verifiable. Religion isn’t religion is it is.

You didn’t even watch the video, did you? If you did, you’d see that Intelligent Design is a bunch of bull crap. If someone gave us intelligence, someone must have given HIM intelligence. Your “designer” must have a designer. And so on, and so on.
You should use your natural-born, self-evolved intelligence to see the truth of the world and accept that fiction is different from reality.

are you really that ridiculous?! how is evolution convenient? it is supported by facts and data and stands up to scrutiny. evolution doesn’t stonewall critics by claiming that it is beyond our realm of understanding and therefore beyond the bounds of critisism. quite the opposite. convenient, i think not.

All of those existed without science. Science is just a system to understand those things. I am not saying science is bad. What i am saying though it isn’t the only way to understand life just like a religious person looks at god as the final decider, people look at science and say this must be true because some scientist told me so just like a belief system because i believe he must be true I decide not to question anything because I already believe something to be true that was told to me.

I don’t know how their would be regression. We can not perceive beyond not regress and understand less than we previously could. You can not perceive god so you would never know if a god created by another god and so on. Remember our idea of god is just a symbol of god. Who’s to say god isn’t just the universe, you can look at god in many a ways not just the way christian or some other religion would view it

Religion doesn’t help you understand the world, it dumps a load of nonsense on you and expects you to believe it whether or not you or anyone else understands it. Science is testable and repeatable or it’s not science, it woo like religion. I really get tired of religious people trying to dumb down science to the level of religion. It won’t work, folks.

thank you, i was trying to say that that but it came out kind of funny, keeping an open mind is always a good idea. scientists put so many limitations on themselves without even realizing it.
