When I worked as a tech for HP I saw this all the time. I did warranty repairs and I have been to IT departments who said they had a bad video card because the screen was blank (it was spyware preventing the machine from booting, fixed it in 10 minutes) and one IT department changed a motherboard 3 TIMES because of No Post/No Video, when I got there I noticed there was NO PROCESSOR INSTALLED! I say, learn basic diag procedures, then find a good computer guy who knows at least what you know.

I mean, in this civilized world we’ve got to rely on SOMEONE for some service some time in our lives why give people a hard time when they are searching for help and you can easily provide it? You realize that we can’t know it all right? Sooner or later we everyone has to rely on someone for help on something that they are, ‘noobs’ in.
