Are there any tutorials on youtube that take you through step by step how to build a great looking website (not a basic one)? Using CSS.

No, I think this guy is perfect for tutorials. Good voice preventing you from falling asleep and he’s got that little thing that keeps you interested.

The pace is PERFECT. I doubt anyone is able to follow the video live without having a dual-monitor setup and be quick, but taking notes while he is doing this, and using the pause and rewind functions is the way to do it.

I like how he makes his videos short and interesting.

Here’s a trick, take out a pen and paper, take notes on everything he does and put all of that in your little file cabinet in your desk; and BAM. You will be creating an entire library of hand written tutorials with access to at anytime!

You will be able to arrange this to put Photoshop, Dreamweaver, Flash, and other software tutorials right next to you. And you know what? Writting all of this stuff down once actually pushes you to remember, it’s nearly as effective as taking a course for it!

I am very new to this and am finding it very helpful. I already have been able to accomplish a few things in a short time that I had been struggling with for several days! For a 60 year old guy that’s amazing! Thanks!

Hes the best thing thats happened to the youtubes

  23. Comment by Alphonzen — October 31, 2009 @ 3:30 pm

    Damn right.

Courses are for people who have never heard of youtube.
When I get a job, Im going to donate to this guy. Its the only way people like him can keep making high quality and free tutorials.
