That bowl on the amp is full of spare picks. There are pictures of it on the DVD of “Under Blackpool Lights”. As I recall they all have III on them. That’s Jack’s symbol. He identifies with the number 3.

he’s doing alternating pull offs. bar the 7th fret with your 1 (pointer), and pull off with 3 and 2. He just does it really fast.
